The Living Book
You're ready to write your book. You just don’t know where to start.
Whether you're telling your story or sharing your expertise — I'll help you get it out of your head and onto the page.
90-Day Book Coaching
Everyone has a story to tell.
The ones that stay unwritten are just waiting for the right conditions, the right support, and the belief that they're worth writing.
I'll help you create all three and write a book you're proud of.
[Your book goes here.]
You know the story is there.
It shows up at 2am, in the shower, in the middle of a meeting you're supposed to be paying attention to.
And then you finally sit down to write it, and you don't know where to start — so you don't. Not because you're not capable. Because you're not sure where the book is going.
That's what 90 days with real support changes.
Not the size of your story — the conditions around it.
TRUTH: Everyone has a story to tell.
Here's what I want you to know before we talk about timelines and what's included:
—> The writers I work with aren't writing a book to have a business card with "author" on it.
They're writing because it has to come out of them.
You feel an ache from not writing. Every time you see someone you know publish a book, you secretly think, “Ugh. My book. But when? And … how?”
If that's you — you're in the right place.
This is for you if:
You have a book idea; maybe you’ve even started writing — you just don’t know what it wants to look like yet. You can’t see it, and you don’t know where to start.
You've been circling this book for too long and need a real deadline with accountability and support through all of it
You want someone in your corner who understands the inner experience of writing, not just the craft
You're ready to start and committed to finishing, and you want a contained, high-momentum experience to get there
This is not for you if:
You just want to put “author” on your business card
You don't yet have a clear concept (start with a Book Mapping Session first)
You're not ready to write consistently and do the work to get your book out of your head and onto the page
You want someone else to do it for you
Meet Your Book Writing Guide
Jacqueline Fisch
After writing and publishing four of my own books — and doing the inner work that every book demands — I know exactly what it takes to go from idea to holding it in your hands.
I've worked with business owners, coaches, and executives on everything from positioning to planning to publication. And I bring my Quantum Mind Body Coach training (QMBT®) to every engagement, because the hardest part of writing a book is rarely the writing itself.
It's the question underneath the writing: What does it mean about me if this isn't the best thing I've ever done?
That's the question I help you answer — so you can keep writing. Because ultimately, it’s about getting the stories out of you.
THE LIVING BOOK
The Living Book is my private 1:1 book coaching experience — close, high-touch, and built around the book you're writing and the writer you are right now.
Every client gets the same depth of attention within the same 90-day container. It's not about rushing you — it's about giving your book the deadline it's never had.
90 days.
A living draft, and a clear path forward.
For writers who are ready to move.
Most writers spend months — sometimes years — circling their book. Rereading old chapters, rewriting the beginning, waiting until it's "good enough." This container is designed to break that pattern entirely.
I read your chapters each week for the big picture. I stay inside your book's world as you write it, so when we meet, it's as if I've been sitting beside you the whole time. I know where your narrative is going, where your voice is strongest, and what's holding you back.
Ninety days from our first session, you won't just have pages — you'll have a complete path: a manuscript at whatever stage it's honestly at, total clarity on what still needs work, and exactly who to bring in next.
What's included:
90-minute Book Mapping Session to lock in your outline, audience, and positioning — so day one, you're writing
Weekly chapter reading — every chapter you send, I read and provide weekly written notes — what's working, what wants more, where the energy wanes
Mind-body coaching and nervous system support woven throughout — because fear, resistance, and identity shifts can show up every time you write something that stretches you
Up to three coaching calls/month to process what came up in the writing and keep you moving
Voxer access between sessions — so you're never stuck waiting for the next call
A referral list and self-publishing checklist — the editors, designers, and next steps your book needs, so you leave knowing exactly who to call and what to do. I'll point you in the right direction; the doing is yours
A written closing summary — what you wrote, what shifted, what's still ahead, and a clear plan for what comes next
Investment:
Pay in full: $9000
Or, 3 monthly payments of $3300 ($9900 total).
NOT QUITE THERE AT 90 DAYS?
Some books need more than 90 days — that's not a failure of the process; it's sometimes the nature of the work. If you're close but want more support, you can extend in 30-day increments at $2600/month, picking up exactly where we left off.
If you'd rather take what you've built and keep going on your own, that's a perfect outcome too — the goal was always to get you moving, not to keep you needing me.
Petra, Award-Winning Filmmaker
“I was hesitant to work with Jacq because I've tried working with many writing coaches, and it's not always a fit. And now, I'm looking forward to starting a fresh new draft of my book with a new angle that she helped me find. It's made all the difference in my attitude and enthusiasm about doing it while taking out the paralyzing overwhelm.
I enjoyed the efficiency, quick reviews, and clear step-by-step instructions to keep a distracted person from straying off course. I've regained the sense that — I can do this. Before, I wasn't so sure...
If you're stuck finding your focus, audience, and your message, or just need to hone it — Jacq WILL get you over the hump. Working with Jacq doesn't feel like working; she makes writing a book feel like a solvable puzzle, showing you the pieces are already there. That's a true gift!”
Client Love
"Something just clicked in me that when I sit down now, all of these details are pouring out in a way that just feels so elegant..."
”Oh my God, the book I'm producing is of such a different caliber."
“The care and attention that you put into your relationships feels so expansive. Like, even you just writing back (after I sent my draft) and being like, I love the energy of this. I'll dive more into it later. Even if that wasn't true*, you know how much an author needs to hear that, and I just thank you so much for that.”
* It IS true! I AM excited for her. I can’t lie (which is why I don’t write fiction ).
What First-Time Authors Are Saying
“As a first-time author, I was blissfully unaware of what I was stepping into. When I reached out to Jacqueline, I thought I was in the final stages of editing. What I really needed was someone who could walk me through the challenging and affirming process of writing deeply personal stories about my life and make them make sense to others. Jacq is such a powerful book coach.
She listens, nudges, and sets realistic expectations that support you as an author and an entrepreneur. She's held my hand through one of the most transformative processes of my career, and I highly recommend working with her if you're writing a book that's personal in any way.
Writing this book with her by my side had undoubtedly changed me and my business for the better. I am so grateful for her patience and encouragement when my book took double the time to write than I imagined. I would have abandoned my book in my Google Drive long ago if it weren't for her!”
— Kim Wensel, Business & Career Strategist and Author of The Multi-Hyphenate Dilemma
“Working with Jacqueline has been a dream come true. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, heartfelt, and wise coach for my book. She has helped immensely through my writing process.”
— Malika Semper, Astrologer & Author of Tales of the Zodiac
Top Questions About Book Coaching
-
Yes — we start there. Your first session is a 90-minute Book Mapping Session where we build your outline, define your audience, and set your writing direction. On day one of whichever timeline you choose, you're ready to write.
-
No — this is coaching, not editing. I read your chapters to guide you, not to rewrite or restructure them. You'll leave with real momentum and a clear plan for what's next, including editor referrals if that's the right next step for your book.
-
I work especially well with books rooted in personal experience, transformation, and wisdom — the kind that require the author to do real inner work before they can write it. That includes memoir, and business or leadership books woven through with personal story.
If a project isn't the right fit for me — whether that's the subject matter or my own areas of expertise — I'll tell you honestly and point you toward someone better suited to it.
-
That's not what this is measuring. Most of my clients aren't professional writers — they're business owners, coaches, and experts with something to say and no idea how to get it out cleanly. My job is to help you find your voice on the page, not to hand you polished prose. If you can talk about what you know, we can turn that into a book.
-
Life happens, and one off week won't derail the container. What matters is the overall rhythm — if you're consistently unable to show up for the writing and the calls, this probably isn't the right season for this offer, and we'll talk about that honestly rather than let you spend $9000 on a container you can't use. The 90 days don't pause or extend automatically; if you need more time once we're near the end, that's what the 30-day extension option is for. If you want to go faster, you might like the private retreat option.
-
No. I work specifically with memoir and business or leadership books woven through with personal story — nonfiction rooted in real, lived experience. If you're writing fiction, I'm not the right coach for it, and I'm happy to point you elsewhere if I know someone suited to it.
-
A developmental editor works on your manuscript. I work with you — reading every chapter to stay inside your book's world, then coaching you on what's next, rather than rewriting or restructuring your pages myself.
I also bring mind-body coaching into the process, because the block that stops most people from finishing isn't usually a craft problem — it's fear, resistance, or an identity question that shows up the moment the writing asks something of you. You leave with real momentum, a finished manuscript at whatever stage it's honestly at, and a clear referral list for what comes next — not a fully edited book, and not just a stack of pages either.
-
Yes. Plenty of writers I work with aren't starting from zero — they're picking back up something they started and stalled out on. It just becomes about getting clear on what you have, what's missing, and where the next 90 days need to take it.
